About Me

Bryony is a yoga teacher who specialises in using yoga to regulate the nervous system, with a strong focus on supporting people with stress and anxiety through intelligent, body-based practice. Her work centres on building strength, stability, and confidence in both the physical body and the mind, helping students feel capable, grounded, and resilient in everyday life.

With a background as a former professional sailor and Olympic development squad member, Bryony brings a deep understanding of physical training, anatomy, and how the body performs under pressure. She is fascinated by how the nervous system, muscles, breath, and mindset all work together, and this shapes her teaching into something that is both therapeutic and physically empowering.

Before training as a yoga teacher, Bryony worked as a sailing coach and a primary school teacher in the UK and abroad. Teaching has always been at the heart of what she does. She brings clarity, encouragement, and warmth into every class and believes deeply in people’s capacity to change and grow when they are supported well.

Bryony first came to yoga during pregnancy with her first child and experienced how it could restore balance physically, emotionally, and mentally. Now a mum of three, she understands real life demands and designs her classes to build strength that translates off the mat — better posture, more energy, steadier nerves, and a greater sense of capability.

She completed her first training with The Yoga Garden and the Independent Yoga Network in 2017 and is also a qualified children’s yoga teacher. In 2020, she trained as a Yoga Therapist for Stress and Anxiety with The Minded Institute. Based in Emsworth on the South Coast, Bryony now offers a weekly regular yoga timetable, workshops, retreats, yoga for companies, and online yoga, supporting people to build strong bodies, steady minds, and a more resilient nervous system.
